Privacy statement regarding applicants DDL

DDL is, within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act, responsible for collecting personal information provided by the applicant. DDL uses this data to process the application.

What information is collected and processed by DDL?
To be able to apply for a job at DDL, documents that the applicant has uploaded are saved, such as the applicants resume, letter, and the answers to some questions we asked in advance.

For what purposes will DDL use information about the applicant?

DDL will use information about their applicants for the following purposes:

  • To be able to process the application and share the personal data of the applicant with the manager who has a vacancy;
  • To be included in a list of candidates (portfolio) if the applicant has given permission for this;
  • To adjust and improve the recruitment and selection process.


Use by third parties

DDL can provide the applicants personal data to third parties if it is obliged to do so on the basis of legal provisions, if it is required to do so as a result of a lawsuit and / or if it is necessary to protect its own rights.


In what way does DDL protect the applicants Personal Data?

  • DDL will process the applicants Personal Data in a proper and careful manner and in accordance with the law.
  • DDL will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the Personal Data of the applicant against loss or any form of unlawful processing.
  • Access to applicant data is limited to HR  and managers who are involved in DDL’s recruitment activities. DDL staff are obliged to respect the privacy of applicants who visit the DDL website and to keep the data of applicants confidential. DDL provides adequate security measures to protect electronic processing of applicants data and to prevent any misuse thereof.
