Dr. Wim Quint (Chief Executive Officer) received a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He has specialized in molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases and is a key opinion leader on molecular studies of human papillomavirus. Dr. Quint has published more than 200 papers on various topics in international scientific journals.
Dr. Leen-Jan van Doorn (Managing Director) received his Ph.D. in molecular virology from the University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He has specialized in molecular typing of infectious organisms such as hepatitis B and C, human papillomavirus and Helicobacter pylori. He has published more than 100 papers in international scientific journals as well as various book chapters.
Anco Molijn, M.Sc. (Manager Diagnostic Services) has extensive experience in the fields of molecular biology, virology and molecular pathology. Before joining DDL in 1998, he worked at the department of pathology of the University of Rotterdam and St. Judes Childrens hospital (Memphis, USA). Since 2001, he heads the diagnostic service unit and IT department of DDL.
